The Lovepedal OD Eleven, one of the latest overdrive offerings from Sean over at Lovepedal. It's caused quite a bit of hype as usual and plenty of people got interested in it.
Here's a description from the Lovepedal website:
"Harmonically rich, perfectly tuned, transparent overdrive unit that delivers fat, organic tone of an overdriven tube amp – with separate controls for bass and tone.
The OD Eleven's controls bring out the best in your amp's unique voice rather than turn it into something it's not. The Bass control adds thickness without affecting other frequencies while the Tone control takes care of the high end definition.
You'll also find a friendly amount of touch sensitive gain and a mighty dose of output with the OD eleven. Plus you can run the unit from 9 to 18 volts for different flavors of headroom."
And a demo video for you:
Ok, so the boys and girls over at Freestompboxes got their hands on one (Thanks to Jb1911) and had a look inside. Here's a schematic for your viewing pleasure (Drawn by Analogguru):
[Note - the value of the mystery resistor was confirmed as 1k5]
So yeah, the OD Eleven, it's a clone of PaulC's Timmy (With a couple of value subs), and it's same as the overdrive unit in the Amp Eleven. When will people stop ripping off PaulC's Timmy design? Maybe it's so popular because it's so good. Anyway, if you want an OD Eleven then go speak to PaulC - he'll knock you up a Timmy instead.
Here's a picture of the bare PCB board:
